James Corden Returns to Host Grammys 2018

By  |

Just three months ago, James Corden hosted one of the biggest nights of the year, The Grammys. CBS just announced that Corden will emcee Grammys 2018 in an upfront presentation in New York. Corden’s obviously did an excellent performance the first time around, and we are certain he won’t disappoint in 2018.

The Late Late Show host is known for his infectious humor, melodic musical talent, and wild singing and dancing on his “Carpool Karaoke” rides. His “Carpool Karaoke” rides feature him collaborating with some of the most prestigious musicians. For example, Madonna, Bruno Mars, Justin Bieber and Adele have all joined him on the hilarious ride.

The Grammys also wasn’t Corden’s first rodeo and he had prior hosting experience. In fact, he also hosted the 2016 Tony Awards, in New York, for CBS, while his late-night colleague Stephen Colbert, had been tapped to host this year’s Emmy Awards, in Los Angeles, on CBS.

Needless to say, Corden’s performance on The Grammys 2017 was hilarious and we are excited to see what he comes up with to keep the audience on their toes this year. His comedic monologue that opened the show with a “set malfunction” joke, is one we will never forget.

This year, The Grammys will return to New York for the first time since 2003, with the ceremony set to take place at Madison Square Garden. Moreover, The Grammy’s 60th edition, will air on CBS on Jan. 28, 2018.

The Grammys is a long time away, so make sure to tune in to Corden’s “Carpool Karaoke” tonight May 18 to get excited for what the future holds. Corden revealed that ex-One Direction member Harry Styles is joining the segment tonight and SD Entertainer is excited to say the least!

We will keep you posted on more updates about The Grammys throughout the year. Stay tuned.
