San Diego Bay Wine & Food Festival coming soon

The San Diego Bay Wine & Food Festival is coming! The festival is a five day event that features cooking classes and wine tasting as well as entertainment for its guests. The festival kicks off on Wednesday November 17, 2010 with the San Diego Wine Rave. You can attend this spectacular event for free! All you have to do is sign up below by typing in your email address. You then will be automatically entered into the random draw to receive 2 tickets to the wine tasting extravaganza which is apart of one of the best festivals of the year.

The Wine & Food Festival is the largest wine and culinary event in Southern California. It has been ranked in the top 5 of the “Top 100 Southern California Events” by BizBash Magazine for three straight years as well as in the top 3 of the Los Angeles Times’ “Favorite California Food Festivals”.

Aside from its glowing reviews, the festival includes over 800 different types of wine, 70 of San Diego’s top restaurants and chefs participation, 150,000 food samples being served throughout the week, and 30 Gourmet Food companies who choose to sample their items at this event. The event itself is projected to contain 9,000 attendees throughout the week.

It also will have exciting cooking classes, wine tasting classes and an auction for some of the most prestigious bottles of wine. Proceeds from the auction will go to the American Institute of Wine & Food culinary arts scholarship programs.

Tickets to the Wine Rave, on the first day of the festival, costs $40 dollars in advance and $60 dollars at the door. The San Diego Wine Rave will be located at Eden and will take place from 7PM to 10PM. It will include 25 of the best and newest wine and spirit bottles on the market today. The event will also have entertainment that will be provided by J. Soul Productions and well as an opportunity to dance the night away.
