Coach Holds Out Best Pitchers in Meaningless Game
The local boys of Chula Vista lost to a tough Texas squad out of San Antonio Tuesday night by a score of 6-3.
Don’t be alarmed, sports fans. The coach held out all the better pitchers to save their arms, since this game was meaningless in terms of getting to the next level. Based on pool play, both teams were guaranteed a place in the U.S. semi-finals. This game did determine who they will play; it will be the Little League world champions from 2007, Georgia’s Warner Robbins American LL. The game is scheduled for 5:00PM Thursday night on ESPN.
From here on out, the games take on a single-elimination format. The game is on for Park View. Good luck, boys!
