Where to Go Bowling in San Diego

Whether you’re a veteran bowler, or you need the bumpers up, there are some awesome alleys around town that are a far cry from the dingey places of the past. From killer drink and food deals to themed bowling nights, check out these spots for your next bowling experience. 

Kearny Mesa Bowl – Kearny Mesa 

This is the place where everyone from casual bowlers to serious competitors can come and feel at home. This alley features plenty of lanes, along with a stoked sports bar featuring drinks deals and yummy snacks. They also have pool tables, jukebox, a dance floor, live music, and karaoke, so you know you’re set for a good time. 

Bowlero – San Marcos & Chula Vista

A newly renovated bowling alley that is one of the top entertainment spots in North County, Bowlero is the perfect option for all the bowling fun you could ever want. Along with plenty of lanes to choose from, Bowlero offers some seriously killer drinks deals, like their Yard of Beer or Fishbowls, along with a food menu that is far superior to anything else you’d find at other alleys. Tavern Bowl – Chula Vista 

Whether you’re looking to celebrate with friends, and just have a fun evening with some bowling, Tavern Bowl is the place to be. Serving as a duo restaurant and bowling alley, Tavern Bowl is an elevated bowling experience. The menu here features delicious offerings unlike other alleys, like filet mignon tacos, baby rack ribs, and house-made pizzas. With 12+ lanes, sports packages, and plenty of entertainment, Tavern Bowl is excellent at providing its customers a good time. 

Parkway Bowl – El Cajon 

Located on the Boardwalk, Parkway Bowl is one of the premier bowling and entertainment centers in San Diego. Parkway Bowl offers a variety of fun events, like Cosmic Bowling, complete with glow-in-the-dark pins, laser lights, fog, and groovy music to keep the fun rolling. Poway Fun Bowl – Poway 

This family-owned bowling center features a facility with 32 lanes, 7 pool tables, and a sports lounge with 10 TVs and a dance floor. There is no chance you’ll ever be bored here, as Poway Fun Bowl takes great care to provide its customers with a fun and friendly atmosphere that will allow you to relax and enjoy yourself with ease. They also host a variety of fun events throughout the year, like Karaoke and Trivia Night.
