While ticket prices are slightly higher than others, this is more than made up with incredible food, service, and overall comfort.

Arclight Cinemas – La Jolla

Part of the UTC Mall, Arclight Cinemas gives moviegoers a unique movie experience with reserved seating, modern decor, and a full bar stocked with plenty of different craft beers, wines, and cocktails. Here you’ll find wider plush seats, though they aren’t the reclining kind like most luxury theatres. The concessions stand also offers gourmet snacks and treats to accompany your movie experience.

AMC Theatres – La Jolla, Chula Vista & Poway

Enjoy a movie with a brew or a cocktail all while sitting in a plush reclining seat that is reserved just for you. Tickets start at just $14.99, making it a more affordable option when compared to other luxury theatres in San Diego. At the Poway location, you can enjoy dine-in delivery right to your seat, with a menu featuring gourmet options all at affordable prices.

Regal Carlsbad 12

This recently built 12-screen movie theatre is packed with all the amenities to make your visit to the movies unlike any other you’ve experienced. With comfy recliners, reserved seating, cutting edge projection and sound technology all for a ticket costing $12, you’ll be hard pressed to find a better bargain. You’ll also be able to get an ice cold beer or wine, along with some solid food options along with your standard popcorn and candy.
