Lil Alex specializes in mesquite-grilled meats, with some of the best ribs in San Diego. The beef bone is an exceptionally tender and juicy rib that is sprinkled with a mild rib and doused in a smoky-sweet sauce with a signature kick.
Cali Comfort BBQ – Spring Valley
Known for having a welcoming village atmosphere, Cali Comfort BBQ is the perfect spot to gather with friends and enjoy some good ol’ BBQ. Husband and wife, Shawn and Rositsa Walchef have created a place that pulls together that small-town feel with plenty of big-time flavors. Cali Comfort is known by the locals for the slow-cooked tri-tip that practically melts in your mouth. Each meal is complemented with generous helpings, and all meats are cooked after being seasoned with Cali Dry rubs in their Ole Hickory Smoker with select cooking woods.
