Adam Lambert turns heads on Glam Nation Tour

By  |

Adam Lambert took the stage last night in New York, and VH1 caught some of the action. You can watch Adam’s LIVE performance of “Fever” right here. “Fever” was co-written by Lady Gaga and has the pop feel that we’ve come to expect from both Gaga and Lambert.

Love him or hate him, Adam Lambert can turn heads and make the news.  This video is no exception. Lambert’s sexual orientation may have been a question during the filming of American Idol, but since he came out of the closet, there has been no doubt. After his memorable performance on the AMA’s last year it should be no surprise that  he makes out with men in his live performances. If you don’t like that sort of thing, you might not want to press play (just a fair warning).

Lambert got his start right here in San Diego and became a household name in 2009 on season eight of American Idol. Like many Idol contestants that have become popular, Lambert didn’t take the title. Instead, he has powered on and become a successful musician and performer in his own right.

His first studio album, For Your Entertainment was released in November 2009 and the first single “Whataya want from me” has charted in the top ten in over seven countries including the US.

Lambert’s Glam Nation Tour kicked off June 4. His only stops in California will be on July 27 and 28 when he performs at the Orange Country Fair’s Pacific Amphitheatre in Costa Mesa. If you’re planning on attending the show, you can expect to see a great performance full of special-effects lighting and plenty of “Glam.”

Adam Lambert grew up in San Diego after moving from Indianapolis as a child. He was raised in Rancho Penasquitos and attended Mt. Carmel High School. He currently lives in Los Angeles so he can work on his budding career.

San Diego resident for over 10 years, I now call this beautiful city home. Originally from the Bay Area, I'm a California girl at heart. I love the outdoors, fitness, food, and a good craft beer (from San Diego of course).

LOLZ, a warning??? Totally unecessary for a little playful licking or pecking. America needs to get over homophobia real fast. It’s wearing really thin. Adam is just being himself, and his fans wouldn’t have it any other way. He has done many performances since the AMA, and they all were rated PG13. I’ve been at several and you could take your children.

Good grief!! It’s playful licking–hardly like what happened at the AMA’s. Tommy was wearing lots of lip gloss that night, and it caught Adam’s eye. It’s both very hot and very cute!!

Adam puts on a fantastic show for his fans who love his amazing vocals and his over the top showmanship.

Well, if that’s making out with men, I’ve been doing it wrong all these years!

Warning? Seriously? WARNING? I suggest you rephrase that.

Hmm, over-reaction much? Lambert is on stage for 65 minutes and this 4-5 second “pecking” is the sum total of his “making out with men” during his concert. Why is a warning required? Is your homophobia showing, or are you just attempting to get hits for your website? Sad either way.

Well actually the lick/tease between Adam and Tommy is just that… a tease. And since Adam knows VH1 was filming last night played it up. Interesting how the media will pick that one scene to sensationalize. Oh well, it will get Adam talked about and hits to VH1 – so mission accomplished:-)

Love the song FEVER and it should be a single. And the playfulness is cute. Talking about his outstanding vocals and great showmanship is just too boring I guess for the media’s attention…

It is a tese, so you’re saying he makes out with men in his performances is an ourtight lie or mistake. it was one – hello, one – performance last November and not since. That said, get a grip, it’s a musical performance and as all four ladies of The View said on TV – all the hoopla about his AMA performance is laughable. It was nothing new that had not been done before, and even the daytime soaps are more sexual and kids are home. It is the usa seual phobic culture that is pathetic, freaking out over anything sexual in a performance -it is pitiful, backward and stupid. In 3rd world countries where mother nature rules, not 11th century dogma, puberty is a natural time for the natural expression of sexual natures. And Meade’s studies and research showed that the teens experimented with both sexes until they found their natural inclination and orientation. By the way, see the whole person, not just the sexual orientation. If the person kind or cruel, smart or stupid, honest or untrustworthy, brave or cowardly, friendly or aloof, confident or shy, straight, gay or bi, theist or atheist, creative or boring, interesting or boring etc etc

You said, “His only stops in California will be on July 27 and 28 when he performs at the Orange Country Fair’s Pacific Amphitheatre in Costa Mesa.”

Apparently you have not done any research. Search his tour dates, you can easily find out that he has more dates in CA than this two. There is one in San Diego, and two in San Francisco. I believe that he is add more in CA as well.

Glad others cleared up the point that Adam has more concerts in CA.
Adam Lambert received great New York reviews for his 2 sold out concerts. He is a Rock Star and Rock God. I am so proud to be a Fan!
‘Music Again’ is back in my life because of his entertainment talents. I have previously seen many concert performance greats and Adam has the IT factor and the out of this world voice. Plus, his career has just begun! Woo Hoo, many more years of Adam Lambert ahead, movies, TV and CD’s… I even like watching his video interviews, such a wonderful sense of humor and a fast on his feet thinker. He must be an interviewer dream guest.
If Adam Lambert can make it there (New York), he will make it anywhere… it’s up to you- Glamberts, Glamberts, Glamberts!

Wow, San Diego publication! Way to throw our hometown boy under the bus! Why should there be a warning for the same type of kisses I give my mother? If this was Miley Cyrus kissing girls on stage then I’m certain there wouldn’t be a warning attached. Pandering to homophobes is an ugly thing.

BTW. The lick and the kiss the next nite was HOT!!!!
It was a deliciouse Adam and Tommy moment. It was fun and we,the fans, love love it!!!!!!
I bet you do too, no, you liked miley’s kiss. Didn’t you. Remember, the 17 years old who acts. Like a SLAT???????

A Warning?? How bizarre. warning for what? Anny you need to get out more. Way to support the local boy.

Maybe the fair warning was a good idea. The homophobes and haters would look even more ridiculous if they bothered to spew their venom after a fair warning. Personally, I love Adam’s sexual antics on stage. I wouldn’t have dreamed in a million years I would be so obsessed with a performer like I am with Mr. Adam Lambert. I used to think there was was no such thing as a perfect man, but then I watched American Idol Season 8 and realized how wrong I was.

“He’s not vicious, or malicious, just lovely and delicious,” right Adam? You GO boy! Groove is in the heart.
