Rosie Huntington named Hottest Woman by Maxim
British model and actress, Rosie Huntington-Whiteley has earned the #1 spot on the Maxim Hot 100 List.
Maxim Editor in Chief, Joey Levy, released a statement that said, “Rosie is a true transformer — a Victoria’s Secret stunner who is about to go supernova when she takes over for Megan Fox in the ‘Transformers’ franchise — her talent is as undeniable as her beauty, which is pretty jaw-droppingly undeniable.”
Huntington-Whiteley definitely showcases her ultimate hotness on the cover, she appears wearing a leather jacket with no top and little booty shorts. She says, “It is a huge honor. It’s a great title to have for a year, and you can have some fun with it, I think.” The issue is set to come out on May 10th.
Although Huntington-Whiteley snagged the number one spot, a number of other hot women also made the cut. The top ten were Olivia Munn coming in at (#2), last year’s winner Katy Perry (#3), Cameron Diaz (#4), Mila Kunis (#5), Bar Refaeli (#6), Anne Hathaway (#7), Natalie Portman (#8), Cobie Smulders (#9), and Jennifer Lawrence (#10). Other notable beauties making the list include “Jersey Shore” star Jwoww (#78), Nicki Minaj (#75), Emma Watson (#69), Kim Kardashian (#35), Prince William’s new bride, Kate Middleton (#26), Britney Spears (#25), Taylor Swift (#20), Olivia Wilde (#16), and Scarlett Johansson (#14).
Former Transformers star and last year’s #5, Megan Fox was #17. Fans will get to see Fox’s #1 replacement, Hungtington-Whiteley, in “Transformers: Dark of the Moon,” opening on July 1st.
According to MTV, Whiteley said she has been a bit overwhelmed by her first big movie experience and the transition from model to actress is exciting but scary. “I’ve seen the last two movies, so I kind of knew what I was getting into, but obviously not at all as well. It was a crazy opportunity that was handed to me, and I spent seven months making the movie with a great cast and a great director, and it’s been a roller coaster of a lifetime for sure. I’m still on it, I don’t know if I’m going to get off anytime soon.”
Huntington-Whiteley also earned the world’s most prestigious set of wings courtesy of Victoria’s Secret in 2009.
