New Voice for Kraft Macaroni & Cheese

It didn’t take Simon Cowell or Randy Jackson to spot the newest “golden voice” in voiceover history.  No, a The Columbus Dispatch dispatcher found Ted Williams on the side of the Columbus, Ohio freeway holding a cardboard sign that read: “I have a God given gift of voice. I’m an ex-radio announcer who has fallen on hard times.”

Those hard times are over for Williams who became a viral sensation on Tuesday with the original YouTube clip reaching more than 4 million views in 24 hours and per, was spotted by the NBA’s Cleveland Cavaliers to be the new voice for Kraft Macaroni & Cheese.

Howard Stern off scotch free as is Cornelius Dupree Jr. of a Texas Prison

USA Today Lifeline Live reports a Los Angeles judge today released Anna Nicole Smith’s lawyer and boyfriend, Howard Stern, from allegations that he used false names to obtain drug prescriptions for the actress before her 2007 death and Tuesday Texan Cornelius Dupree Jr. was declared innocent and free after 30 years falsely imprisoned.

Stern walks away without having to pay any fines but as Yahoo! News reports, Dupree Jr. is eligible to receive money: “$80,000 for each year he was behind bars, plus a lifetime annuity. He could receive $2.4 million in a lump sum that is not subject to federal income tax.”  Wow!

Mark Twain is Being Edited

USA Today Lifeline Live reports that the “N” word is being replaced 219 times from a new February print of the combined works of Mark Twain in his novels: “‘Adventures of Huckleberry Finn” and “Tom Sawyer”.

Knowing that some schools have banished Twain’s works for use of this term, a Mark Twain scholar, Alan Gribben, working with NewSouth Books in Alabama decided to pull out the 219 occurrences and replace it with the word, “slave” saying, “I want to provide an option for teachers and other people not comfortable with 219 instances of that word.”
