The First Trailer of Jumangi is Here

The first official trailer of Jumanji released today June 29 and it welcomes you to the jungle, welcomes you to the jungle, it might even bring you to your sha na na na na knees knee. It looks hilarious and stars some of our favorite actors and actresses.

Dwayne Johnson, also known as “The Rock,” was the first to share the trailer on his Facebook page with fans everywhere around the globe. He introduced the trailer by a short clip saying, “I am super pumped that you guys are going to check out Jumanji.”

Immediately and inevitably Guns n Roses’ classic hit, “Welcome to the Jungle,” played in the background as four kids stood in a dark room and then surprisingly got sucked into a video game.

Plot twist: They are not kids anymore, and are in fact adult versions of themselves.

This generation’s Jumangi is a spin-off of the 1995 version, which read that the children jumped into a board game. Apparently, a board game was too 90’s for our current digitally enhanced world.

Jumanji is clearly jam-packed with some of the most hilarious and best stars in the game. In addition to “The Rock,” other actors include Jack Black, Kevin Heart, and even Nick Jonas. Some of the actresses in the new Jumanji include Karen Gillan, Missi Pyle, and Madison Iseman.

Check out the trailer below and be prepared to laugh. In my opinion, the best part might be the fact that a high school mean girl transforms into Jack Black. But, I’ll let you be the judge.

Clearly, this film is a must-see considering the cast and first trailer. Unfortunately we have to wait until Dec. 20 for the full movie to come out, but are already on the edge of our seats for the jungle in Jumanji to come to theaters.
