It’s finally the weekend again and you’re ready to adventure and explore new events that are happening in San Diego. From Sunday football to enjoying charitable surf competitions, there’s no way you’ll have a dull moment this weekend.

If you are determined to watch your relaxing Sunday football in a bar setting, the Coronado Bayside Grill has everything you could need. From large flat screens to amazingly priced appetizers, to $3 beers and $4 well drinks, you’re Sunday football tradition just got a whole lot better. Take your Sunday’s to the next level at a bar with all your friends watching your favorite game, with a beer in your hand.

If your idea of a perfect weekend is being outside and enjoying the ocean breeze, the 100 Wave Challenge will take care of your adventurous activities for the weekend. Shaun Tomson and Damien Hobgood, surfing legends, will ride the waves with 100 other fellow surfers in order to raise money for charity. All of the proceeds go towards the Boys to Men Mentoring Network. This community helps provide education for young men growing up without fathers in San Diego. Make a difference this Saturday at 6am, and watch the sport that you know and love, while supporting an important cause.

After you wake up early to go see the surfing fundraiser, make your way down to the Ocean Beach Pier Pancake Breakfast. Pancakes will be served from the incredible Breakfast Republic, and will include other breakfast items such as eggs and fruit. All of the proceeds that are raised will go towards the OB Food and Toy Drive, that will help people during the holidays. Fill your belly with delicious pancakes, and give back to the community at the same time. Tickets to attend start at $5.

There truly is something fore everyone this weekend here in San Diego. If you are a podcast junkie, you can meet 40 creators of the best podcasts out there right now. You can also learn about this new form of media, while meeting these influencers who can teach you the ropes. The New Media Summit: Podcasts event, will allow you to follow your dreams of being a famous influencer in the podcast world.

After you’ve learned about how to be a famous podcaster, you can make your way down to the Pacific Islander Festival, and discover numerous different cultures. You can indulge in food, drinks, and other items that have a heritage behind it. Everyone is welcomed to come and be a part of the culture, while the event is being hosted by PIFA. PIFA is an organization basted on volunteering, and includes San Diego locals who help preserves a diverse amount of culture.

This might be the biggest “foodie” event of the year. The San Diego Restaurant Week has over 180 different restaurants that will have you indulging in an exquisite there course meal. These restaurants are from all over the country, with prices varying depending on what package you are craving. Make sure to make a reservation so that you can be a part of some of the best food that your taste buds have ever experienced.

End your weekend at an event that is perfect for your kids, and for yourselves. The Julian Apple Days Festival is complete with music, dancing, children’s activities, beer, wine, and pie. There will be vendors here selling merchandise along with interactive contests to make sure that you and your family don’t have a single dull moment on your Sunday. Enjoy a relaxing day at Menghini Winery with your family, while enjoying delicious apple pie and your favorite wine.  Tickets are 5$ and starts at 10am.
