Cuck Fancer & Explore San Diego’s Best Breweries on March 9th
Best Coast Beer Fest is returning to San Diego’s scenic Embarcadero Marina Park South on March 9th, showing off over 100 craft breweries, plus food trucks and local entertainment. The Brews:
Welcome to beer paradise! Since you’re likely to not sample all 100 brews, here are a few standouts to make sure to hit. Long time fan favorites Stone Brewing Co., Saint Archer and The Lost Abbey will be in attendance, though I recommend you use the opportunity to check out some less known breweries. I suggest sampling Bay City Brewing, Culture Brewing Co., Viewpoint Brewing, and Resident Brewing. Also make sure to check out the new (old) brews by Green Flash, who just went through a rebrand and brought back their classic West Coast IPA.
The Food:
Grab a VIP ticket to enjoy complimentary bites from three of San Diego’s most popular restaurants! In the mood for fish tacos? The Fish Shop has you covered! These guys will be serving up delicious tacos made with their beloved Fish Shop Seasoning and scratch-made sauces. WhipHand American Brasserie + Beer Bank will also grace palates with in the VIP tent with bites from their comfort-style menu cooked by Corporate Chef Quinnton “Q” Austin of Grind & Prosper Hospitality Group. And don’t miss Shake Shack there serving up their classic burgers!
If you aren’t in the mood for a fancy VIP ticket, GA guests will have tons of options as local cuisine from a ton of food trucks that will be located throughout the space. Think pizzas, burgers and tacos! Or, check out Hana Haou for Hawaiian inspired grub like their Kalua Pork Sandwiches.
The Cause:
The annual event raises money for Cuck Fancer, an organization dedicated to raising awareness for young adult cancer, and helping survivors get back on their feet. Started by Ben Teller who, after being diagnosed with Hodgkin’s Lymphoma and having two life saving transplants, realized that there is a lack of resources for young adults affected by cancer. While raising money for this worthy cause, at Best Coast Beer Fest you can sample some of the best beer from San Diego and around, listen to local music, and take in the stunning views of the Embarcadero.
