37th Annual Harvest Festival brings affordable family fun and quality holiday shopping to Del Mar Fairgrounds!

San Diego, prepare to kick off your holiday season with the 2009 Harvest Festival. On October 23-25, the Del Mar Fairgrounds will host the 37th annual Harvest Festival featuring handmade high-quality arts and crafts, food, live entertainment, and fun for the whole family.

The Harvest Festival this fall is being hosted in Las Vegas, Pleasanton, Long Beach, Ventura, Del Mar, San Mateo, Sacramento, San Jose, and Pomona.

This is a great opportunity to start your holiday shopping early and pick up unique decorations and gifts for your friends and family.  Over 300 artists will showcase their handmade works, including Halloween and Christmas décor, wearable art, garden decorations, holiday gifts, pottery, jewelry, children’s toys, and much more.  Each exhibitor is chosen through a stringent selection process to display their American-made work at the Harvest Festival.

The bandstand stage will feature Scott Land Marionettes, Scotty & Trink Comedy Juggling Show, and HyJinx.  Big Mama & Goofy Gary, BC Character, and WC Wily as Elvis will be providing strolling entertainment.

Top features of this year’s Del Mar Harvest Festival include:

The Harvest Festival will be open 10am-6pm Friday, October 23 and Saturday, October 24 and 10am-5pm on Sunday, October 25.

Tickets are $9 for adults, $7 for seniors 62 and over, $4 for youth 13-17, and children 12 and under are free with an adult.  One ticket is good for all three days.  $2 off coupons are available at CVS, IHOP, Michaels, and Ultra Star Cinemas.
