Photo from 'allotrope' via FlickrThis Thursday, April 29th, you can dine out for breakfast, lunch or dinner and fight AIDS at the same time. Now that’s a satisfying meal!

The Center is hosting its fourth annual Dining Out for Life® San Diego. More than 100 San Diego restaurants, bars, nightclubs, and coffee houses will be participating in this countywide event by donating a portion of every check to The Center’s HIV/AIDS services and prevention programs. A minimum of 25% of sales of each participating restaurant will benefit the cause.

There will truly be something for everyone, as a wide variety of eateries will be participating this Thursday, such as The Glass Door Restaurant and Lounge, the Indigo Grill, Hash House A Go Go, Pinkberry and even the hot nightclub Stingaree. Be sure to check out all of the contributing restaurants.

Do you want your restaurant to be a part of Dining Out for Life? Sign up here.

You too can get involved if you’d like to help out in a more direct way, as volunteers are always needed. You can join the Running Team and deliver materials to participating restaurants on the big day, or you can be part of the Data team, which works to enter plenty of data after Dining Out for Life.

The Center, also known as the San Diego LGBT Community Center, works to sustain and improve the health and well-being of the lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and HIV communities. The Center provides programs and services that create community, empower community members, provide essential resources, advocate civil and human rights, and embrace cultural diversity. They are hosting several other events in the months to come.

So grab your family and friends and make plans to dine out for breakfast, lunch, dinner, dessert, coffee or even cocktails, because this Thursday you’ll be dining for a good cause!
