Event venue Revel Revel has officially opened in the heart of the Gaslamp Quarter of San Diego. Revel Revel is the latest project by Chef Nick Brune and his team at Eco Caters. The team previously opened the highly successful Lot 8 in Mission Valley in May of 2017.

Revel Revel’s elevated view of the Gaslamp District from the third floor corner of 5th Avenue and E Street has a rustic urban feel.  The space features high ceilings with wooden beams, exposed brick, wood floors, and oversized windows.

The 1700 square-foot event space can accommodate up to 245 guest and is designed with corporate events, wedding receptions, private dinners and parties in mind. With moving walls and mobile bars, Revel Revel adapts to multiple group sizes. The organic-focused catering menu, provided by Eco Caters and Chef Nick Brune, is dedicated to sustainable, locally sourced cuisine.

“Sustainability is in our DNA at Eco. It’s the most important part of our core values. I started Eco because of food waste in the events industry. I was sick of watching 200 pans of potatoes go in the garbage. I’m also very connected to the ocean. This has led to our support of organic produce, local seafood, and biodegradable utensils and plateware. When we saw this space, we knew we had to add it to our family. The view alone is stunning and rare for an event venue in downtown San Diego.  The rustic urban feel also fits well into our culture and provides the right setting for the people and businesses we serve.”
