September Concerts in San Diego

September creeping up does not mean that the San Diego locals can’t celebrate summer coming to an end. There are a numerous amount of diverse concerts coming up in our wonderful city, including music festival KAABOO. There are so many sounds to be discovered, and now you can have the inside scoop on what’s going on in your city and music.

With songs such as “Just Your Kind of Girl”, “Some Will Call it Love”, and “My Little Lady Who”, Maddie Leigh will spice up your September night with her impeccable pipes. This country star will be performing at Lestat’s West on September 6 at 8pm. Joining her on the stage will be Thomas Speinds and Raena Jade. This yodeler is taking the country scene by storm, and her incredible vocals are bound to leave you speechless. Maddie will also be singing the national anthem at Petco Park on September 7.

If you are into new country music and want to start tailgating before the football season starts, Florida Georgia Line (FGL) is performing their Smooth Tour at Mattress Firm in Chula Vista on September 9. The tour has been highly reviewed by so many – MusicRow Magazine praised it saying, “Just in case you’ve forgotten, Florida Georgia Line is one of the hottest country acts alive.” You don’t want to miss this show. The warm weather looks to make this concert a great summer send off. Plus, as most country fans can agree (that apart from the music), the best part about country music season is the tailgate. Excited concert attendees will show up as early as noon on concert day to play drinking games, and relax with their friends. The concert may start at 7pm, but the fun starts as early as you want it.

The Observatory North Park will be hosting Corbin and Shlomo on September 9 at 8:00pm. With tickets starting at just $25, the collaboration of these two artists is sure to be something new and entertaining for fellow fans. Corbin was formerly known as Spooky Black, but is making a new name for himself. This project has been a unique success, and the success continues at their show in September. Another show playing at this special location, is Lil Yachty. This astounding performance of music will take place on September 18th at 7:00pm. This rapper and singer is sure to bring in a large crowd, so don’t miss out on your chance to be a part of the show. Lil Yachty always brings an upbeat energy to his shows, and you deserve an positive night with your best friends.

Green Day is coming back to San Diego on September 13. The trip will be performing at Mattress Firm Amphitheatre, and tickets start at just $22. This punk rock band has been creating music since 1986 and now you can join them on tour.

Red Hot Chili Peppers are taking over the Del Mar Fairgrounds on September 14 at 7:00pm. This funk rock band has sound that everyone knows and loves, creating the perfect night out for you and your friends. The Getaway World Tour is making a statement, and you can sing along to all the music that you’ve known and loved for years.

The rock band that is Govt’s Mule, or Mule, will be performing at Humphrey’s concerts by the Bay on September 25 at 7pm. With accents of blues rock and funky music taste, this musical group is the perfect reason to go out on the town and have a good time.

There are a numerous of diverse groups performing this September in San Diego, at many different diverse locations. Whether you want to enjoy yourself at a quiet coffee house, or enjoy a night out at Sleep Train Amphitheater there is always somewhere new to find music.
