By  |

The magic of Disney returns to San Diego’s ice this weekend. With an action-packed lineup featuring the characters from Disney•Pixar’s Cars and Toy Story 3, as well as Disney’s The Little Mermaid and Frozen, the show is sure to dazzle an audience of all ages.

While Disney On Ice was first introduced in 1981, the magic of watching beloved characters glide, dance, and fly right before your eyes has not been lost. Enjoy the thrill of watching high-speed stunts and high-octane fun as Lightning McQueen, ‘Mater and the crew of Cars race across the ice.  Dive into adventure with Ariel from Disney’s The Little Mermaid, as she explores her undersea kingdom.  The toys are back in town with heroic action when Buzz, Woody, Jessie and the Toy Story gang escape Sunnyside Daycare in a daring adventure to get back to Andy’s room.  Plus, enter the winter world of Arendelle with sisters Anna and Elsa and pals Olaf and Kristoff from Frozen as they learn that true love comes from within.

As an added bonus, be sure to get there early to participate in “Mickey’s Dance-Along Pre-Show Party” to learn some dance moves taught by the performers. Taught by the mouse that started it all, Mickey Mouse reminds all participants that being active can help you be your best. After everyone is energized, the audience will be ready to enter a dazzling world of Disney magic, and see some of your favorite Disney moments come to life.

The show runs from January 26–29, with the following show times:

Thursday the 26th: 7:00 p.m.

Friday the 27th: 7:00 p.m.

Saturday the 28th: 11:00 a.m., 3:00 & 7:00 p.m.
