Dj Khaled Guest Judges America’s Got Talent

Considering this season has been full of so much raw talent from the contestants, Howie Mandel, Mel B, Heidi Klum and Simon Cowell have struggled in making the decision on who is deserving of the gold buzzer. On this week’s ‘America’s Got Talent,’ DJ Khaled guest judged and helped make the decisions easier for the judges by offering insightful advice for the contestants.

One of the contestants, Chase Goehring, won the hearts of America during his first audition with an original song titled “hurt;” he came back even stronger this week. On Tuesday, he sang another original song named “A Capella” and had the audience to their feet by the end.

When he got to the stage he said that the song, “was about me,” whereas the last song was about someone else. The song was immediately fast paced and catchy with verses like, “I’m not aiming to become famous, I just want to play and sing this.” During the middle of the song, the audience began clapping and as he sang the chorus, they sang along with him.

He even offered some comedic relief which made the audience collectively crack up. He sang, “would say that I put my soul all up in them but I am a ginger, you know how that goes,” in another line.

The judges were thoroughly impressed by him, but DJ Khaled was moved and gave Goehring the golden buzzer. He also said that Goehring was on his way to being a super star and even said that he wanted to work with him someday when the two hugged at the end of the performance.
