Billboard names 2010 hot artists

Lady Gaga takes the prize according to Billboard, who named Gaga the Artist of the Year 2010. With amazing timing for this announcement, Madame Tussaud’s wax museum in Berlin revealed their newest replica — Lady Gaga in signature black leotard, blonde hair, “hair bow,” and sunglasses.

Taylor Swift, Eminem and Lady Antebellum also make Billboards list, and makes a statement because 2 of the top acts are country stars, a rarity for this recognition. Billboard names Tik Tok by Ke$ha the song of the year, followed by Airplanes by B.o.B, Bad Romance by Lady Gaga, Taio Cruz’s Dynamite and Katy Perry’s California Gurls.

Album of the year goes to Susan Boyle with I Dreamed a Dream, followed by Eminem, Lady A’s Need You Now, Lady Gaga’s The Fame and Justin Bieber’s My World 2.0.

Prince Charles and Camilla’s car attacked during London Protest

Prince Charles and Camilla were traveling through London yesterday when a mob of protesters hurled pain at their vehicle, breaking a window. Demonstrators were protesting rising school fees and surrounded the car outside Parliament. No injuries were reported, but the level of security for the future King of England has been questioned.

Beauty Queen Kumari Fulbright convicted of kidnapping

Former Miss Arizona has been convicted of kidnapping and torturing of her ex-boyfriend is going to prison. She will serve two years with six years probation. Charges stem from her 2007 arrest for conspiracy to commit kidnapping and aggravated assault against her ex-boyfriend.

Barbara Walters 2010 Most Fascinating People

Betty White, Mark Zuckerberg, Justin Bieger, The Jersey Shore cast, Sandra Bullock, Jennifer Lopez, LeBron James, Sarah Palin, Kate Middleton and Afghanistan military commander Gen. David Petraeus made the cut, with Petraeus taking the top spot.
