San Diego Bay Wine and Food Festival

LOCATION: San Diego Wine & Culinary Center, 200 Harbor Drive, San Diego, CA, 92101.

INFO: San Diego Bay Wine and Food Festival is the largest Wine and Food festival in Southern California. Their will be Cooking and Wine tasting classes with Celebrity Chefs! These tasting events will be held throughout the day, so plan accordingly and take part in this mouth watering festival.

ARCO/U.S. Olympic Training Center Tour

TIME: Friday November 20th, 2009. 10am – 2pm.

LOCATION: 2800 Olympic Pkwy, Chula Vista, CA 91915.

INFO: The Olympics is one of the top sporting events in the world. This is one of the three Olympic Training grounds in the United States operated by the United States Olympic Committee. At this facility you can tour the training fields and tracks, athlete dorms and the Otay Lake Reservoir. Check out where it all starts.

Dinosaurs Alive 3-D

TIME: Friday November 20th, 2009. 10am-5pm.

LOCATION: San Diego Natural History Museum, Marston House, 3524 Seventh Avenue.

INFO: The museum will present live action 3-D documentary that captures the journey of paleontologists as they dig up major fossil evidence. Life like animations will be presented that accurately depict the appearance, movement and fierce power these enormous creatures possessed. For detailed info visit Balboa Park’s website.

Art After Dark: The Zodiac Lounge

TIME: Friday November 20th, 2009. 7pm to 10pm

LOCATION: Oceanside Museum of Art, 704 Pier View Way Oceanside, CA 92054.

INFO: Live music, art exhibitions, areas to create your own sculptures and two-dimensional collages, complimentary sushi from Harney Sushi, pizza, hors d’oeuvres from Santino’s Pizza, beer from Lost Abbey and wine tasting from PCP Wine International. What more can you ask for? This event looks like a winner. All this for only $15, or $10 for OMA members.

Haydn Seek at Orchestra Nova

TIME: Friday November 20th, 2009. 7:30pm to 11pm.

LOCATION:   St. Paul’s Cathedral Downtown / Gaslamp,  2728 Sixth Avenue , San Diego , CA 92101.

INFO: Experience a recognizable and humorous symphony at St. Paul’s Cathedral in downtown San Diego. Formerly San Diego Chamber Orchestra. This event includes a very rare performance from an overture. Tickets for Haydn Seek range from $10 – $60. Student tickets are $10 and general admission is $22.
