Motivational Minute: Positivity

If you believe in yourself, anything, and I mean anything, is possible.

In this week’s Motivational Minute, motivational speaker and author Vince Reardon, explains further how positivity and positive self-talk will help you be a stronger you.

Vince explains that the sad reality is, many of us quit believing in ourselves. He says, “Before I give a motivational talk, I ask my audience to write down one thing they believe about themselves they wish they could change. One common toxic self-statement is ‘I can’t do that.'”

More often than not this self-statement is a false belief reinforced by negative self talk. This belief can be reduced to three simple words – I am afraid.

If believing in yourself is one of your personal barriers, begin a 30-day program of positive self talk. Start with one positive self-talk statement a day. Instead of saying to yourself, “I can’t do that,” say “I will do that, one small step at a time.”

Replace false beliefs about yourself with positive beliefs and strengthen those positive beliefs with daily positive self-talk. If you believe in yourself, anything, and I mean anything is possible.
