ArtWalk San Diego moves to Liberty Station
Formerly ArtWalk on the Bay, ArtWalk San Diego @NTC Liberty Station (shortened to ArtWalk @NTC) builds upon the success of the past 7 years at San Diego’s Bayfront. This 8th annual event takes place in San Diego’s flagship arts and culture district, NTC @ Liberty Station, once San Diego’s Naval Training Center, and now a mecca for artist studios, galleries, museums and performing arts groups.
This fine art festival is part of the ArtWalk San Diego brand known for bringing together all facets of the arts in San Diego while promoting the experience of owning original art.
This August, ArtWalk @NTC is set to draw more than 100 artists, a dozen musical performers, gourmet food and interactive kids’ activities at KidsWalk. The new destination for the festival is complemented by an array of dining options at this scenic venue.
Attendees will be able to experience art “alfresco.” ArtWalk @NTC brings fine art outside under San Diego’s sunny skies to create the perfect viewing art under natural light and purchase artwork directly from the finest artists in the region. Attendees get to meet with artists and hear what inspires them about their work. Whether you are a seasoned collector, a family on vacation or are simply ready to be inspired, come to ArtWalk @NTC to discover the art that has been waiting for you.
The event is set for Saturday, August 24 & Sunday, August 25, 2013 at NTC Promenade’s Ingram Plaza, 2640 Historic Decatur, San Diego, CA 92106
ArtWalk @NTC offers free parking, complimentary admission for all ages and abundant seating for to this festival’s live musical performances and extensive art exhibits.
Produced by the same event team behind San Diego’s largest fine art festival, Mission Federal ArtWalk, ArtWalk @NTC promises a high caliber of artists in a more intimate setting near the San Diego Bay. Formerly located on the opposite side of the bay, this event found its new home in the NTC Arts & Culture District, which is fast becoming an important creative hub in San Diego.
