Ariana Grande Manchester Benefit Concert

By  |

Though Ariana Grande suspended her international tour due to the Manchester terrorist attack, she will be singing at a benefit concert this Sunday in support of the victims and families who suffered and are suffering because of the attack. In collaboration with other celebrities, Grande’s performance at “One Love Manchester” will take place on June 4 at the Emirates Old Trafford in Manchester.

Some big name artists are going to join Grande for this concert. Celebrities who are also taking the stage are Miley Cyrus, Justin Bieber, Coldplay, Katy Perry, Pharrell, Usher, One Direction’s Niall Horan and Take That. Grande offered free tickets for all the fans who were at the Machester concert last week and tickets for the event go on sale June 1 via Ticketmaster.

BBC is also going to be broadcasted on BBC radio and BBC One, so make sure to tune in for this heartfelt concert in anyway that you can.

All of the proceeds from the show will go towards the “We Love Manchester Emergency Fund,” in collaboration with the British Red Cross and Manchester City Council. All of this money raised will help those who suffered from the Manchester suicide bombing that took place last week. Organizers of this event are expecting to make 2 million dollars in support of the cause.

All of the tour dates through June 5 for the “Dangerous Women” tour will be cancelled and there is no news on when and where she will continue the tour. The concert’s promoters, AEG, has refunded all ticket holders, at least.

In an open letter that Grande posted on twitter, she said, “music is meant to heal us, to bring us together, to make us happy, so, that it what it will continue to do for us.” We are expecting an amazing benefit show and future for Grande, despite this abominable event.
