web_posterTickets are on sale now for the 4th Annual Fruit of the Soul fundraiser event, which is scheduled to take place on Saturday, September 19th from 6:30-11 pm. Niamh Scott Productions and Kelly Orange will host this popular and fun event with the support of local musicians and participation by over 30 of San Diego’s premier restaurants.

Some of the restaurants providing culinary specialties for the evening include: 1500 Ocean, Urban Solace, Jsix, Blind Lady Ale House, Hash House A Go Go, Kensington Grill, Alchemy, Water’s Fine Catering, Pamplemousse Grille as well as many more. A cocktail bar will be provided courtesy of the Tractor Room and there will be ample amounts of beer flowing from such award winning breweries as Trumer Pilsner and Palm Breweries. Local distributors will also be generously providing wine for the evening’s festivities.

There will be live musical performances and artist displays that will run throughout the evening. Additionally, local designers will be showcasing some of their fashions while local artists feature some of their prints and paintings.

The event will be held downtown at 1929 Hancock Street in the warehouse of Specialty Produce, a San Diego based wholesale distributor of fresh produce as well as prominent vendor to many of San Diego’s restaurateurs. Specialty Produce is known for supporting local restaurant owners as well as worthwhile community events such as Fruit of the Soul.

Fruit of the Soul is an annual fundraiser that supports the preservation of music, art and sustainable education in San Diego. Each year the organizers at Fruit of the Soul seek out other worthwhile organizations or endeavors in which to support. Proceeds from this year’s event will go to three phenomenal organizations – the Monarch School, ARTS – A Reason to Survive and Olivewood Garden & Learning Center.

Do your part to help support these outstanding organizations and purchase your tickets for the upcoming Fruit of the Soul where music, art & nutrition are the fruit of our souls.
