This weekend there were two celebrities with very good news to share. Jessica Alba gave birth to a baby girl and Hilary Duff announced she’s expecting.

Jessica Alba Welcomes Baby Haven Garner Warren

On Saturday, August 13, Jessica Alba gave birth to her second child.  Jessica posted the good news on her Facebook page, “She was born on Saturday, weighed 7 lbs. and was 19 inches long.  Healthy and happy!  Big sister Honor couldn’t be more excited about the new addition to the family.”

The “Spy Kids: All the Times in the World in 4D” actress and husband Cash Warren checked out into Cedars Sinai for the much-awaited arrival.  The couple had decided on the beautiful name, Haven Garner Warren, for their new daughter

Showing her appreciation for the well-wishers on Facebook, Jessica thanks everyone for their support, and goes on to say that it means the world to her.

Hilary Duff is pregnant

Hilary Duff announced on her official website that she and husband Mike Comrie, 30, are expecting a child.  The news happened to coincide with the singer-actress’ first wedding anniversary.

She and Mike wedded on Aug. 14, 2010.  On her official web page, Duff posted pictures to commemorate their wedding day that took place a year ago.

In her post, she shared, “We are extremely happy and ready to start this new chapter in our lives.”

Earlier this year, Duff had denied rumors that she was expecting.

“It’s just a rumor guys” she Tweeted in January.  “Not true.  But thanks for all the good wishes!  Lol.”
