Everybody Loves Raymond Child Actor Sawyer Sweeten Commits Suicide

Sawyer Sweeten most notably started alongside his twin brother Sullivan and sister Madylin in the popular sitcom “Everybody Loves Raymond.” The childhood actor reportedly committed suicide at the age of 19 in a family member’s Texas home on Thursday, April 23, 2015.

Sawyer played Geoffrey, one of the Ramano’s twin boys, from 1996 to 2005. Sweeten’s sister Madylin posted on Facebook on Thursday afternoon saying, “At this time I would like to encourage everyone to reach out to the ones you love. Let them have no doubt of what they mean to you.”

Patricia Heaton, Sawyer’s TV mom posted to Twitter:  “Sawyer Sweeten was a funny and exceptionally bright young man. He is gone from us far too soon.”
