San Diego Oktoberfests
Once again, the calendar turns, the seasons change and now it’s fall, and that means beer and German food and celebrations. For autumn, here’s four different Oktoberfests being held soon all around San Diego County:
Karl Strauss 25th Anniversary Oktoberfest in Pacific Beach

Pacific Arts Movement Oktoberfest in Liberty Station

The Taste of North Park Oktoberfest in North Park
* When: Saturday, October 11, 2014 * Time: 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. * Where: 39 restaurants, 11 breweries, 30+ Boutiques, 10+ Craft Cocktails bars: all around 30th Street & University Avenue * Attendees: 21+ only * Cost: $30 until 9/26; $40 after * Included: tastings at a plethora of places in North Park, live music * More Info: click here *
German American Societies of San Diego, Inc. Oktoberfest in El Cajon
* When September 26-28 & October 3-5, 2014 * Time: Fridays 4:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m; Saturdays 12:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m.; Sundays 12:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. * Where: German American Societies of San Diego, Inc., 1017 South Mollison Avenue, El Cajon, CA 92020 * Attendees: all ages * Cost: $5 for 21+ (military free) * Included: bratwurst, potato salad, sauerkraut, pretzels, ox-on-the-spit; beer a wine extra * Also: Saturday, September 27 opening parade and “Tapping the Keg Ceremony” * More info: click here *
