Bruno Mars is on Top
Bruno Mars, who was just featured on 60 minutes, expressed his talent and passion for the entertainment/music business. Also, his song “Versace on the Floor,” recently joined the top 60 at Rhythmic Radio. Clearly, Mars has been climbing the ladder of success, and he doesn’t plan on relenting anytime soon.
On the show, 60 minutes, Bruno Mars explained all sides of him, to include being both an entertainer and musician. He explained how he was inspired by Michael, Prince and James Brown. He said, “You watch them and you understand that they’re paying attention to the details of their art.”
Not only did he voice what inspired him, but he also talked about the low points in his life that shaped him to be the individual that he is today. In fact, Mars opened up about being homeless when he was a child after a tough split between his parents. After he expressed his experiences of being homeless, he maintained a positive attitude despite these detrimental obstacles.
Mars even said, We had it all, you know. We had each other and it never felt like it was the end of the world. “It’s alright we don’t got electric today. It’s alright. It’s temporary.” saying, “Well, we gonna figure this out.”Maybe that’s why I have this mentality when it comes to the music. ‘Cause I know I’m gonna figure– I’m gonna figure it out, just give me some time.
Sure enough, Mars has conquered many battles to be where he is today — at the top. In fact, one of his latest songs, “Versace on the Floor” ranks as the Mediabase rhythmic panel’s #56 song and it was at #73 last week.
