Holly Madison insures her breasts for $1 million

With the rising popularity of celebrities insuring their body parts (Heidi Klum and her $2.2. million legs, J. Lo’s $300 million butt), it was really only a matter of time before reality star and Las Vegas entertainer Holly Madison insured her assets –and by assets, I actually mean breasts.

That’s right, the 31-year old ex-girlfriend of Hugh Hefner took out a $1 million insurance policy on her breasts with Lloyd’s of London insurance company, she told People Magazine.

“I’ve heard about people getting body parts insured and I thought, why not?, because if anything happened to my boobs, I’d be out for a few months and I’d probably be out a million dollars,” she said.  “I thought I’d cover my assets.”

Madison stars in topless burlesque production Peepshow in Las Vegas.  She also has her own reality TV show, “Holly’s World”, which revolves around her life in Vegas.

So I guess if you had as much money riding on your breasts as Holly Madison does, you’d probably insure them too.

Stacey Dash officially divorced

“Clueless” star Stacey Dash is officially divorced from (ex-)husband Emmanuel Xuereb, TMZ reports.

The couple married in 2007, but Dash filed for divorce in January 2010, the same day she petitioned for a restraining order against Xuereb.  Dash claimed that he hit her in the face, head and body, but she was afraid to report it to the police.  After a prolonged waiting time, a judge signed off on the actress’ divorce papers, reports TMZ.

Dash, who was staring in VH1’s “Single Ladies”, recently quit her role to focus on existence like a mother.

“I have to be back in L.A. with my children right now and the ‘Single Ladies’ shooting location makes that impossible. I wish VH1 the best of luck with the show and in maintaining the strong fan base we developed in season one.”

She and Xuereb did not have any children together, but Dash, 45, does have two kids from a previous relationship.  This was her third marriage.
