What’s Coming To Netflix In November
Every month, Netflix refreshes their video catalog with new content, while removing some of the old options. November is shaping up to be a phenomenal month for Netflix lovers, with 79 new titles becoming available throughout the month. With a mix of new original Netflix content and older shows/movies, let’s go over some of the best additions coming this month:
Marvel’s The Punisher is coming to Netflix November 17th, and it’s shaping up to be a gritty, action-packed series. There has been a huge anticipation for the release of this show, since the character of the Punisher, played by Joe Bernthal, was first seen in the Netflix produced show Daredevil. Bernthal stole every scene he was in, and fans yearned to see more of the character. The Punisher will be one of Marvels most extreme shows yet, so be on the lookout if kids are watching.
Another Netflix Original that is highly anticipated is the film Mudbound, which will become available on Netflix on November 17th as well. This film features a star studded cast, including Carey Muligan, Mary J. Blige, Garret Hedlund, and Jason Mitchell. Mudbound tells the story of two families, one white and one black, and how their lives become implicated with each other after the second World War. Dealing heavily with racism and hatred, Mudbound is a visceral look into the mid 20th century.
If you’re a action/sci-fi fan, then you’ll be happy to hear the classic film, Men In Black, will be coming to Netflix. Featuring the timeless duo consisting of Tommy Lee Jones and Will Smith, this wacky movie is full of scenes with aliens, comedy, action, and everything in between. This is a great choice for the lazy nights in, and it’s always sure to get some laughs out of you.
Horror fans will want to check out Oculus and Silent Hill. Both having solid reviews, they are going to be solid additions to Netflix’s lagging horror film selection. Oculus features Karen Gilman as Kaylie Russell going up supernatural forces to prove the innocence of her brother. Silent Hill is a superb adaptation of the cult classic video game that has terrified millions, following the journey of Rose through a strange yet deadly town, in the search of her adopted daughter.
Coming to Netflix in early November, Undercover Grandpa is a more lighthearted addition to the catalog. With veteran actor James Caan, as well as Lou Gossett Jr. and Jessica Walter, this film is geared toward those family nights you have with your kids. Following the kidnapping of his Grandpa, Jake Bouchard bands together with his Grandpa’s old war buddies to get him back.
