‘Game of Jones’ with Leslie Jones and Seth Meyers

By  |

On ‘Late Night with Seth Meyers,’ Seth Meyers brought out the ‘Game of Thrones’ super fanatic Leslie Jones to commentate on the latest episode. Calling it ‘Game of Jones,’ the new installment features the two sitting on a couch providing hilarious insight on the most significant parts of the ‘Game of Thrones’ episodes.

Jones usually live tweets throughout the episode, and Meyers started out by saying that what he loves more than ‘Game of Thrones’ is watching her live tweet it.

At the beginning of the commentary, Jones noted on the subliminal messages in the opening credits, which Meyers had no idea about beforehand. “I wouldn’t have even known that if you hadn’t pointed that out,” he said. “You are watching it on another level.” She responded, “I am Game of Thrones, homie.”

Jone’s commentary got more and more hilarious as the video progressed. At one point she said, “Bron… they really need to get a blood test on him. He’s just high.” Then they flashed to a scene of Bron, looking exactly how she described.

I don’t think any viewer of Meyer’s late night show expected what was going to happen next. Jones went on a rant about Varys being a selfish and two-faced girl who you can’t trust. Seconds later, Varys appeared in full costume at the door and said that he hadn’t seen the episode yet. Varys even said, “I’m on the same stuff Bran is.” Jones inevitably jumped at the sight of him and her inner “fan girl” busted out at the seams.

When they watched the final scene of Dany and Drogon that happened at the end of ‘Game of Thrones,’ Jones made her own variation of a dragon’s roar. Also, Varys said that he “sh*t himself.”

We can’t wait for the next installment of ‘Game of Jones’ on ‘Late Night with Seth Meyers.’
