‘Bachelor in Paradise’ Season Premiere

By  |

After all of the drama that ensued and the delay of the season premiere of ‘Bachelor in Paradise,’ we are excited to finally say that the premiere took place last night on ABC. Just to keep you on your toes and things more interesting, this premiere of ‘Bachelor in Paradise’ is split up into two nights because the excessive drama simply can’t be squeezed into one evening.

If you haven’t been keeping up to date on the drama that delayed the season, we’re here to fill you in. In early June, ‘Bachelor in Paradise’ was suspended due to DeMario Jackson and Corinne Olympios’ sexual misconduct. After the two endured a trial, the accusations were proved invalid and thus, production recommenced.

For this episode, Olympios and Jackson’s sex scandal was clearly the center of attention. The two were immediately flirtatious, Olympios jumped in the pool in full clothing, and things started to get hot and heavy in “paradise.” At the first rose ceremony, camera operators turn off (even though filming is still obviously going), and the episode came to a close. One off camera voice said, “I’m thinking it’s something with Corinne and DeMario from the first night.”

Even though that was the end of the episode, there are still some aspects of the episode to note and be excited about. For example, Dean, who is the most popular suitor so far, is already hitting things off with Kristina. In fact, Kristina even said,  “After one date, I already felt more chemistry with Dean than I did with Nick.” They definitely had a successful first date, so we are looking forward to their future ahead in paradise.

Also, Amanda is back in paradise after her heart was broken on the last season of ‘Bachelor in Paradise.’ She said she tried a bunch of dating apps, but none of them worked out, so she decided to come back.

Clearly, there’s a lot to be excited about this season. Make sure to watch the second half of the premiere tonight at 8 p.m. EST.
