From musicals, to disney productions, San Diego is filled with must-see and diverse theater performances. In the next couple of months, there will be productions at the La Jolla Playhouse, San Diego Musical Theater, San Diego Civic Theater and Balboa Theater. Some of the plays will include Freaky Friday and 9-5. This page will be updated weekly with the latest plays and operas playing in San Diego, so make sure to check accordingly!

March 31, April 1, 7-8 – First Date @ Horton Grand Theater

April 4-9 – Finding Neverland @ San Diego Civic Theater
After taking the Broadway stage and fascinating viewers, Finding Neverland is going on tour and hitting San Diego. Based on the Oscar-winning movie starring Johnny Depp, Finding Neverland tells the story of author J.M.Barrie and the family who inspired his greatest work – Peter Pan. Prices are from $48-66 dollars. On April 4-5, the production will start at 7:30. On the 6-7, it will start at 7:30. On the 8-9, it will start at 7:30 and 1 pm on the 8 and 2 pm on the 9.
April 8-30 – Skeleton Crew @ The Old Globe
The play titled, Skeleton Crew, is playing for $28 in El Prado in Balboa Park from April 8-10 at various times. New York times called the play, “deeply moral and deeply American.” It portrays characters from Detroit in 2008 with demanding hours, but “The Fayes” become a family because of it.
