Lindsay Lohan getting out early

By  |

After all the hype and coverage of Lindsay Lohan’s sentencing to jail time, the lockup is short-lived. The was speculation that the troubled actress would even spend the entire sentencing in jail. Talk of Lohan only completing 14 days was buzzing around on tabloids, but now it looks like the star will be out before the months end.

After being sentenced to 90 days in the Century Regional Detention Facility in Lynwood, Calif., video and pictures of Lohan entering the facility were splashed all over the media as she entered the morning of Tues, July 20. Judge Marsha Revel also ordered that Lohan must attend a rehab facility for three months after she is released form jail.

The ruling was made at a probation hearing as a result of Lohan missing her court date in May. Lohan claimed that she missed the court date due to misplacing her passport and being stuck out of the country. The charges were made after her parole violation relating to a 2007 DUI conviction.

The judge did not take it easy on Lohan as she said, “It’s like someone who cheats but doesn’t think it’s cheating if they don’t get caught,” stated in court.

Steve Whitmore, a spokesperson for the Los Angeles Sheriff’s Department, stated that the earliest the actress would be released is this Sun, Aug 1 sometime around Midnight to minimize media crowds. “LiLo’s” departure is sure to be a circus, coverage for it will surely be plastered everywhere in the media following her release.

Lohan is determined to look her best as she exits the jail. Once she is told she is free to go, the actress must go through processing which entails paperwork, getting her belongings back and being able to call her mother, Dina, to come get her.

It has been reported that Lohan has placed a styling team on-call through the weekend in case she is released on short notice. The hair-stylist, make-up artists and fashion stylists will have their work cut out for them as the jail is not a very clean and friendly place.

An insider from the Lynwood facility told reporters, “She will not be allowed to plug in a hairdryer and get a blow out and she can forget about using a flattening iron. There will be no full-length mirror and only if the corrections officers decide to be nice will they close the area to the public. Remember, everyone who works at that jail hates the press. They don’t want to be bothered with all this nonsense and want to rid themselves of Lindsay as quickly as possible.”

Although the jail sentence was short-lived, Lohan is not out in the clear just yet. She must complete three months in rehab immediately after released from jail. She is said to go to a rehabilitation center somewhere in Los Angeles.
