“Jersey Shore” season 2 has just begun for most of us, but for Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi, drama from the show is well into its third season. Rumor has it she has been kicked off the filming of season three after the 22-year-old Marlboro, NY native was arrested Friday, July 30. She was arrested after police attempted to escort her off of Jersey’s Fremont Avenue beach where MTV camera crews were filming.

The reality star is scheduled to appear at the Seaside Heights municipal courthouse on August 18 at 9:00 a.m. ET according to Seaside Heights court administrator Jane Carrozza. Police reports indicate that they were called to the scene after several complained of Snooki falling over people and causing a disturbance on the beach.

After she did not cooperate with police, they placed her under arrest for disorderly conduct around 3:30 p.m. according to CNN reports. Snooki was then shortly released with a summon to appear in court. The scheduled court date is a preliminary hearing in front of a judge to go over the charges.

Carrozza said Snooki is not looking at any time in jail, however she does face the possibility of a fine anywhere between $250 to $1,000.

Specific details of the incident have not yet been released, but witnesses and MTV said that Snooki was on the Jersey boardwalk with fellow cast mates Vinny Guadagnino, Ronnie Ortiz-Magro and Jenni “Jwoww” Farley.

Observers said she appeared intoxicated at the time of the arrest. According to X17 online, witnesses also said the guidette began shouting, “You can’t tell me what to do- I’m Snooki,” to the officers involved.

The arrest came just one day after the hit reality series second season premiered on MTV. The show brought in more than 5 million views according to MTV.
