Free Stuff for Tax Day

Taxes are due today, April 18, after a 3 day extension from the IRS. Despite the looming deadline, and the fact that nearly 1/3 of Americans have yet to file, there is a reason to be cheery.

Many businesses are giving away free stuff to lighten the burden felt by tax payers. Stores range from food, coffee, dating, services, and more.

Want to sweeten up your mood? Head to your local Cinnabon before 8pm today for two free Cinnabon Bites to each guest. With 47 locations in San Diego, there’s surely a store near you. Click for locations. If you’d rather go for ice cream, head to Maggie Moo‘s between 3pm and 6pm today.

Not only will you get desert for free today, but there are special deals on dining as well. PF Changs is offering 15% off of your bill on select items today, and Hooters has a special “buy 10 wings, get 10 free” as well. For a fine dining experience, head to McCormick & Schmicks downtown at the Omni Hotel to and you’ll get a $10.40 Tax Relief Certificate to spend on Entrées and Drink Specials in the Bar.

After filling yourself with food, you’ll be happy to know that Bally Total Fitness will be offering non-members free workouts at all clubs today. If you’re already a members you can enjoy one free personal training session today.
