By  |

The Entertainer’s Local Music Alliance is here, to be launched officially this Friday, September 11th! Don’t miss it on the Entertainer website and in person at Soda Bar in North Park at 9pm. Your presence and purchase of a few drinks will help the San Diego Fire and Rescue Department donation in honor of 9/11. Mark your calendar now!

This is your chance to be a part of the exposure of the sounds of San Diego. This week the Entertainer featured the roll-out of the Local Music Alliance and we want to encourage our readers to join us this Friday.

Along with the party on Friday, everyone will be able to download the FREE Local Music Alliance Play list of the Month for September 2009 . The play list will showcase ten outstanding local bands’ elite songs for your listening pleasure.

Entertainer along with the bands encourage you to burn a CD, put the play list on your I-Pod and share the music with friends. Come back to the Entertainer after you’ve decided who is in your opinion “the best” and cast your vote for their song.

Winners will perform quarterly at an “battle of the bands” like competition judged by industry unbiased professionals in an exciting event.  Finalists will go onto to play in the yearly final competing for $5,000 in PING Music Group dollars and other prizes.

About our great initial sponsors:

We’ve been overjoyed with the beautiful people who have raised their hands to participate in our Local Music Alliance movement.

Starting with PING Music Group who is excited to put their name on the bill. With years of experience in creating marketing synergy, the ability to help musicians get ears and eyes on the music can become a reality. Ping Logo

Traditional means of making waves in the industry have changed as labels are becoming the opposition in some cases. PING’s goal is to effectively brand and market bands while understanding their vision and budgetary constraints. Basically, living in reality but aiming to achieve the rock star dream.

PXL Video Productions is another proud sponsor of the Local Music Alliance. PXL will be bringing the Entertainer the front-row experience at local shows along with band exclusives.

PXL LogoPXL Video Productions offers bands a way to showcase their music in the visual format. Music has colors, and PXL captures the music on film through carefully crafted story boards and scripts.

PXL Video Productions also offers traditional videography services to businesses and for personal documentation. Offering a wide array of services and social media distribution, check out Pxlvideoproductions.com

The Entertainer is pleased to bring great local music to the people. Please let us know of your comments and feedback on the movement.
