All day mind opening music festival with amazing headliners this Friday and Saturday

By  |

Attention rock and hip-hop heads alike, you cannot miss one of the best line-ups in recent history this Friday, October 23rd and Saturday, October 24th at the Cypress Hill Smoke Out presented by Guerrilla Union. Chech & Chong, Sublime, Slipknot and Deftones to name a few are all resurrecting for the event which last took place in 2003.

The “all day mind opening music festival” is also a hemp-cannabis expo. The event will feature  special guest speakers at informative panels and cannabis education to bring awareness to the issues at hand.

Topics will include cultivation, legal rights, clothing, cosmetics and more. There will also be eco-friendly exhibitors and a glass showcase. Cypress Hill has been advocating marijuana culture for over 20 years and this is the perfect opportunity to combine the minds of industry professionals, participants and fans who are all on the same green page.

The festival will take place in San Bernardino at the San Manuel Amphitheater which provides an epic backdrop of cascading mountains and glorious views in likeness of what the music and message represent.

The first day of the event, tomorrow October 23rd, will begin at 1:00 P.M. featuring Short Dawg, Swollen Members, Devin The Dude, Psycho Realm, Hieroglyphics, Geto Boys, Goodie Mob and Cypress Hill (performing both days).

Additionally, the event tomorrow will include a 420 movie night showing cult classics Method Man and Red Man’s How High and hosts Cheech and Chong’s Nice Dreams.

For those that can’t miss work tomorrow to start Smokin’ Out, you must make time in your schedule for day two on Saturday, October 24th starting up again at 1:00 on two stages!

The listings of bands performing is almost unheard of; how Cypress Hill and Guerilla Union created this line-up is beyond my understanding. The lineup includes:

Mix Master Mike, Pennywise, Living Legends, Sublime, Cheech & Chong, DJ Muggs, Cypress Hill, Immortal Technique, Kottonmouth Kings, Method Man & Redman, Bad Brains, Slipknot and Grammy award winning Deftones!

That’s right, the guys of Sublime are playing under their original name without Nowell the lead singer who passed in 1996. They are very special guests for this event and Smoke Out certainly represents a unique opportunity to see the historic band live.

Many artists in the event are also lending their time to the meet and greets in either the Expo Tent or VIP areas. You can still purchase tickets for seats and VIP packages. The VIP packages get you awesome swag and goodies but an even better a chance to interact with the legends appearing in this Smoke Out event.
