This week lists plenty of choices to choose from for movies. From science-fiction to romance to adventure, the choices to pick go on.

In order to help you decide what movies to see we provided a selection of films both recent and upcoming.

The Host Cast at The Twilight Breaking Dawn PremierThe Host

Imagine a world where humans no longer control the planet Earth. In “The Host,” Humanity becomes near extinct due to a race of aliens who inhabit their host’s (human’s) mind to take control and live their lives. Only a few true humans are left, rebels who will risk everything to save their loved ones.

Melanie Stryder (Saoirse Ronan), a girl who never stops fighting to protect the ones she loves, even if she longer controls her own body; Wanderer, an alien being who inhabits Melanie and sympathizes towards the humans and feels their emotional pull. Together they join with others to save their loved ones: Jared (Max Irons), Ian (Jake Abel), Melanie’s brother Jaimie (Chandler Canterbury) and her Uncle Jeb (William Hurt), and others.

In what promises to bring the next popular teen romance, “Twilight” author, Stephenie Meyer, brings to life a story that shows love is the most powerful thing in the Universe.

Temptation

Love that seems forbidden can prove the most dangerous, especially unfaithful love. Tyler Perry’s “Temptation” brings to the screen love, marriage, lies, and betrayal. The drama film narrates the story of a couple, Brice (Lance Gross), a pharmacist’s assistant, and his wife Judith (Jurnee Smollett-Bell), a match-making therapist. Judith provides help and advice for troubled couples. However, she finds herself powerless in conquering her own marriage problems. Things get even more complicated and heated up when Judith comes across billionaire Harley (Robbie Jones), whose seduction leads her on a path that she may or may not ever return from.

GI Joe Australian PremierG.I. Joe: Retaliation

The G.I. Joes return! However, this time the Joes find themselves against two forms of enemies, the Cobras and the U.S. government.

With the additional attacks from the government, the team, headed by Duke (Channing Tatum) and second-in-command Roadblock (Dwayne Johnson), find themselves on the run from the very people they swore to protect. As if those problems were not enough, the team learns of the possibility of an imposter President and Snake Eye’s (Ray Park) archrival, Storm Shadow (Byung-hun Lee), is alive.

The team will find themselves faced with challenging missions and difficult choices to make.

Jurassic Park: An IMAX 3D Experience

Steven Spielberg’s famous dinosaur movie comes back to the screen. This time in IMAX 3D. In the blockbuster hit’s newer settings, viewers can get a realistic close up view of the dinosaur theme park.Paleontologists Alan Grant (Sam Neill) and Ellie Sattler (Laura Dern), and mathematician Ian Malcolm (Jeff Goldblum), join a special group of people to tour the island filled with creatures brought back from prehistoric times, thanks to advanced DNA extraction, scientific experiments, and the generous financial support of the park’s founder, billionaire John Hammond (Richard Attenborough).

However, what promised to seem a fun and fascinating trip quickly turns to a large nightmare as the predators break free and the tourists find themselves hunted.

This recent remake of the 1981 cult-hit horror film promises to be even more horrifying than the original. “Evil Dead” involves a group of five friends who find themselves a remote cabin.

Bored, they decide to explore their cabin and come across a dark book, the Book of the Dead. When they open it, the friends come to a disturbing realization that they unknowingly summoned demons. Demons, once dormant in the nearby woods, now alive and ready to hunt. The friends fight to survive as one by one the demons capture and possess them. Will any live against the fight?
