If you are addicted to brunch, then it’s most likely that you are always looking for an opportunity to participate in this delicious activity. There are many reasons to brunch, and you can now create your own style in how you brunch. One of the most cost-effective ways to partake in “brunching” is making it a big potluck. Invite your best friends to your “Muffins and Mimosas” meal, and have everyone bring something different.

Some of the foods your guests can bring can be anything from spinach and egg muffins, to fresh strawberries to put in your champagne (I know, we’re getting fancy). Tell everyone to be creative, and bring something unique to the brunching table. Other ideas include omelets, a toast and egg casserole, and make sure to make your drink unique as well. For your classic mimosa, try some pineapple juice, cranberry juice, or even both. There are hundreds of different recipes that you can explore for the best meal of the day on the “Delish” website.

Need another excuse for brunch? Birthdays are the best time of the year to get together, and is the perfect excuse for brunch. You can even throw the special birthday boy or girl a surprise brunch with their favorite foods. Having one specific person to celebrate is always fun because you can spoil them with champagne and your signature brunch dish. Arrange outdoor seating while the weather here in San Diego is still beautiful, and gather around to celebrate your favorite person. Make sure to provide the birthday brunch festivities with little cupcakes for everyone to enjoy. If you are feeling extra creative, you can make the cupcakes out of egg, spinach, and bacon. Just put eggs in a muffin pan, mixed with spinach and cook for 20 minutes. Once done, sprinkle some bacon on top for extra flavor.

While birthdays are always important to celebrate, there is always something to celebrate. Find your reason to celebrate, and make brunch the main event. Whether you want to celebrate a promotion at work, your best friend getting engaged, or it simply being the weekend, you can always find an excuse to brunch. Brunch is the ultimate way to celebrate any milestone in your life, because it allows everyone to get together for some delicious food and even better mimosas.

Sunday is one of the best days of the week to partake in brunch. On Sundays, you wake up knowing that you have work the next day and that the weekend is over. So, give yourself to look forward to on the weekends. Instead of dreading the end of the weekend, embrace it. Make every Sunday dedicated to brunch, and Monday won’t seem so bad.

The best excuse to brunch is, just because. If you can brunch on a Tuesday afternoon at 10:30am, then why not? Why not brunch whenever you want, since it’s obviously your favorite activity. There is always a good excuse to be surrounded by your friends, laughing, and enjoying your day with a mimosa in one hand, and a muffin in the other.
