Speaking of sugar, plums and fairies, send in your “Favorite Christmas Memory” story  (250 word max) to us here at the San Diego Entertainer (angel@sdentertainer.com) by next Wednesday, December 15th at noon for a chance to win FREE tickets to see the only performance in San Diego of the Moscow Ballet’s Great Russian Nutcracker in the Copley Symphony Hall showing Monday, December 20th at 8pm. Tickets start at $27.50.  For more information and to purchase tickets, click here.

Then the Aztecs are taking it off for charity! The local students of San Diego State University will be stripping down and getting chilly at this semesters SDSU Undie Run as they collect clothes for donation to the San Diego Coalition for the Homeless.

Tonight is the last night to check out Kings of Pastry at the Reading Cinema Gaslamp 15 (7/9pm), a documentary film by Chris Hedegus and Da Pennebaker that follows Jacquy Pfeiffer as he prepares and competes for the title of France’s finest pastry craftsmen. Watch as Pfeiffer, along with 15 other talented chefs, contends in the Meilleurs Ouvriers de France competition, a three-day culinary contest for the famed red, white, and blue collar marking then as a master of the culinary arts chosen by the President of France himself, Nicolas Sarkozy.
