UltraStar Cinemas 2012 Summer Series only $5.00

What would summer be without a few visits to the theater to escape the hot afternoon sun, or to cool off after a day at the beach?  Ticket prices are continuously on the rise, but UltraStar Cinemas has repeatedly come up with innovative ways to offer affordable movies to their audiences.  Now thanks to a new Summer Series at UltraStar people can attend 10 weeks of popular, recently-released family films for the one time ticket price of $5.00.

At the UltraStar locations in Mission Marketplace Oceanside and Poway Creekside Plaza, every Monday through Friday people are invited to enjoy recently-released films during the summer weeks of June 11 to August 17.  With films that are popular with both the young and the young at heart, the Summer Kids’ Movie Series will kick start summer with an affordable trip to the theater.

The 2012 Summer Kids’ Movie Series schedule includes:
• Week of June 11-15: The Smurfs
• Week of June 18-22: HOP
• Week of June 25-29: Rio
• Week of July 2-6: Zookeeper
• Week of July 9-13: We Bought a Zoo
• Week of July 16-20: Dolphin Tale
• Week of July 23-27: Mr. Popper’s Penguins
• Week of July 30-August 3: Monte Carlo
• Week of August 6-10: Happy Feet 2
• Week of August 13-17: Alvin and the Chipmunks – Chipwrecked

The way the Summer Kids’ Movies Series works is simple.  Families can choose a day of the week that works for them, purchase a $5.00 ticket for that day, and then they are welcome to return every week on that day to enjoy the movie of the week.  The movie of the week will be screened Monday through Friday at 10am with doors opening at 9:30am.  If you don’t have a pre-purchased ticket for a particular day that’s not a problem.  Tickets for individual days can also be purchased at the door for $1.00 each.  Also, children under the age of two are admitted free of charge.

Advance tickets are already available for purchase at the box office.
