You can find the New Zealand reggae band Katchafire this Friday at the Wave House bumping their sweet melodies such as “Seriously” and “Get Away“.By combining Island music, soul, reggae, contemporary, and hip hop, Ekolu has been a favorite of diverse music lovers all around the world. And Rebel Souljahz is guaranteed to blow your mind as they play their Hawaiian reggae jams. Their album won the Reggae Album of the Year Award at Hawaii’s Na Hoku Hanohano Awards in 2009.

The American rock band from North Carolina, formed by American Idol Season 5 finalist Chris Daughtry, is making its way to San Diego this weekend for a highly-anticipated concert with Lifehouse and Cavo. The first single off their self-titled album in 2006, “It’s Not Over“, was the 8th most played song on the U.S. radio in 2007. Lifehouse’s hit single “Hanging By a Moment” won a Billboard Music Award for Hot 100 Single of the Year in 2001. You can also expect to see Cavo perform their famous single “Champagne.”

The largest one-day street faire in the nation is happening this Sunday in Carlsbad Village. Over 100,000 people will be roaming the streets at the Carlsbad Village Street Faire, indulging in the tasty eats and enjoying various entertainment activities for the whole family. There will be approximately 900 vendors selling everything– from clothes to household products to home decor. There will 50+ food booths serving a variety of cuisine from Thai to Hawaiian. And children can enjoy the games, face painting, bounce house, and arts & crafts. Free shuttles will run to and from the faire.
