Abraham will speak through Esther Hicks at La Jolla event

The cosmic entities known collectively as “Abraham” will present their philosophy to an audience of listeners at the Marriott in La Jolla on July 6, 2013.  The knowledge and wisdom of  this group will be communicated via the words of Esther Hicks. Hicks, 65, is an inspirational speaker and best-selling author. With her late spouse, Jerry Hicks, she has co-authored nine books.

Hicks presents several workshops each year, mostly concerned with the secret of the “law of attraction,” meaning, you get what you think about positive or negative. She also appeared with her husband in the film “The Secret” in 2006. Esther describes their written works, especially the best-selling “The Law of  Attraction” series of books, as being “translated from a group of non-physical entities called Abraham.”

Rejecting the term “channeling” she calls her activity being tuned in to an “infinite intelligence.” The Abraham teachings are supported by several well-known and -respected authors of books concerning getting people to feel good about themselves and their lives. Two examples are Louise Hay and Dr. Wayne Dyer. Hay calls the Abraham intelligence that speaks through Esther, “some of the best teachers on the planet today.” Dyer describes the forces as “the great masters of the universe.”

The basic tenets of the teachings postulate that people create their own reality through their thoughts, and that emotions, which are the resonance of vibrations, are constantly guiding people, and that life is supposed to be fun. One key principle is that it is not necessary for even one other person to understand the Laws of the Universe or the processes that are being spoken of in order to have a wonderful, happy, productive Life Experience. We are each the attractor of our own experience.
