This weekend is the official PRIDE celebration for San Diego and there’s tons in store! Don’t miss the weekend-long celebrations taking place all over the county, including Hillcrest, where you can catch the parade and some truly can’t miss performances. What’s summer without the beach? Head to the Annual OTL tournament that kicks off this weekend. Find out what else is happening this weekend in San Diego below!

Friday, July 12

Food Hall Celebration

Celebrate the Food Hall’s one year anniversary of being open on Friday, July 12. Festivities start at 3pm at the Little Italy Food Hall. Live acoustic music from Marissa Grace Music 3-6pm and DJ Mike White from 6-9pm on the Piazza della Famiglia. Face painting and balloon artist, treats and giveaways, anniversary cocktail specials from the LIFH Bar, food specials from select stations, fun activities and more! Free to attend for all ages.

BBQ Wine Dinner at Vintana wine + dine

Join Vintana wine + dine for a 5-course BBQ meal with wine pairings on Friday, July 12th from 6:00- 9:00 p.m. Indulge in tasty menu featuring fried mac ‘n’ cheese balls, a pulled pork salad and smoked beef tips, all expertly paired with reds and whites from importer Stratus Wine & Spirits’ portfolio. Finish off the meal with a mixed berry cobbler with berry coulis and house-made vanilla ice cream paired with a red blend, a vibrant, medium-bodied wine. Tickets are $69 per person.

 Bastille Day Menu at BO-beau kitchen + bar

Ocean Beach’s BO-beau kitchen + bar will host a special menu all day long in honor of Bastille Day on Sunday, July 14th. The five-course tasting menu includes a lobster mango salad, porcini mushroom ravioli, grilled swordfish filet and more for France’s National Day commemorating the storming of the Bastille and the beginning of the French Revolution. Tickets are $48.

66th Annual OTL Ball Game

What started as a few friends playing ball at the beach has now evolved into a worldwide championship with over 1,000 teams participating. Over-the-Line is a classic summertime sport that was created right here in San Diego. On July 13-14 and July 20-21, the Old Mission Beach Athletic Club (OMBAC) will host the 66th Annual World Championship OTL Tournament taking place on Fiesta Island at Mission Bay.  Grab your best friends, your favorite six-pack and kick back to enjoy a thrilling day of OTL. 

Pride Pool Party

Start celebrating Pride on Saturday at the Manchester Grand Hyatt starting at 9 a.m. Put on your best rainbow attire and have fun in the sun celebrating that weekend festivities. Tickets start at $10.

San Diego Pride Parade

Come join the parade at Hillcrest Pride Flag at University Avenue and Normal Street, starting at 10 a.m. Enjoy marching in the streets and dancing to the music as you sport your best rainbow wear and show your support.

San Diego Pride

Melissa Etheridge will be headlining the San Diego Pride Festival at University Avenue and Normal Street where there will be live music, providing everyone an environment where you can celebrate and enjoy your Saturday night.

SD Pride 5K Walk & Run

Run for a cause starting at University Avenue at 8 a.m. for just $40 a ticket. Raise money for The Center’s Youth Housing Project and San Diego Pride Community Grants.

Paint with Salt Class at The Center

Salt is a fun, experimental tool to use when watercolor painting. Salt painting, or what is also commonly called salt technique, is very easy to do, and the results can be surprisingly wonderful. Join the fun and watch the colors blend and mix as you create your ocean-themed salt painting masterpiece as we cannonball into summer! All lessons are led by our Center Teaching Artist, Nancy Robinson. One hour classes are held at 10 am and 11:15 am. Space is limited and seats are available on a first-come, first-serve basis.

OUT in Little Italy: Pride Brunch

On Sunday, July 14, the Little Italy Association will honor and celebrate the LGBTQ+ community with a brand-new, sanctioned San Diego PRIDE event, OUT in Little Italy: Pride Brunch in Little Italy’s Piazza della Famiglia from 9 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. The intimate mimosa brunch will feature eclectic food offerings from participating eateries at the Little Italy Food Hall, bottomless mimosas, live drag performances, fresh PRIDE/House music, and more! The heart of Little Italy will come alive with colorful rainbow décor and exciting festivities to take place during the mid-morning event, including DJ Jinx Mirage spinning tracks and drag performances by the winner of XTina Draguilera on Bravo TV’s Watch What Happens Live, Kickxy Vixen-Styles and Glitz Glam. A portion of proceeds from ticket sales will benefit the programs of San Diego PRIDE.

Enjoy Sunday the best way you know how at Parc Bistro Brasserie. Enjoy the live music, delicious food, and groovy vibes as you say goodbye to the weekend.

Phil’s Big BBQ at the Ballpark

San Diego favorite, Phil’s BBQ will host its 11th annual Big BBQ at the Ballpark, a fundraiser 100 percent in support of Operation Bigs, a mentoring program of Big Brothers Big Sisters of San Diego County. The tasty affair takes place at the North Tailgate Lot on 14th Avenue and K Street near Petco Park before Sunday’s game – from 10:30 a.m. to 1 p.m.
