Fourth of July BBQs in San Diego

Is there anything more quintessential on the Fourth of July than a barbecue? We don’t think so. Show your patriotic pride this Fourth by heading out to one of these local barbecues to enjoy good food, cold drinks, and good times with friends and family. 

Red, White & BBQ – 11:30 AM to close 

Come out to Upper East Bar and celebrate the Fourth of July weekend at this rooftop bar. Located on Jsix restaurant’s rooftop, this rooftop barbecue celebration includes drink specials like $5 beers, $8 cocktails with Jack Daniels and Tito’s Vodka. Pair it with $5 bratwursts, bacon-wrapped hot dogs, and other BBQ favorites for a good time. Plus, this location is perfect for viewing the fireworks! 

Fourth of July Barbecue at 20|Twenty Grill – 6:00 to 9:00 PM

Gather the whole family and head over to the stunning 20|Twenty Grill for a day of classic Amercian barbecue prepared by Executive Chef Julian Quinones. Enjoy grilled classics like marinated tri-tip, smoked chicken, charred corn cobbler, three-bean chili, seasonal veggies, strawberry rhubarb cobbler, and more. A kids menu will be available for the kiddos. Afterwards, hang back to watch Legolands Red, White, and Boom! Fireworks show that can be seen anywhere on the property. 

Fourth of July BBQ at Bibigo Kitchen – from July 4th to July 7th 

The newly opened Bibigo Kitchen is hosting a delicious Korean-inspired BBQ celebration in honor of Fourth of July. If you want to switch it up this Fourth of July, Bibigo is running a special in-house promotion on their fan favorite BBQ platter, piled high with Short Rib, Pork Belly, Fried Chicken, and Ssam. Pair it with one of their Korean-inspired cocktails or a Boba drinks all for just $4.5.

Carnitas Snack Shack Cookout – 11 AM to 9 PM

Celebrate an all-American Fourth with plenty of burgers, hot dogs, and music at Carnitas Snack Shack. Dj Mike White will be spinning from 2 – 6 PM, then a live band will perform for you to groove the day away. Afterwards, catch the fireworks from the patio for the perfect end to your Fourth. 

Lane Field Park 4th of July Fireworks and BBQ – 5:00 – 10:00 PM 

Come out to the prime grassy area of Lane Field Park’s downtown waterfront for an evening of Fourth of July celebration. Savor American BBQ classics, throw back some ice cold beer, and settle in for some fireworks. No need to hassle with buying and grilling your own food, as this event has you covered. Just bring your patriotic price and a willingness to celebrate! Tickets for admission are $5-$10.

4th of July BBQ Party at The Loma Club – 6:00 – 10:00 PM

Head out to The Loma Club for a Fourth of July BBQ Party complete with delicious food and a perfect spot to catch the fireworks. The event will feature live music by Mark Fisher, $15 BBQ, $4 select beers and $4 well cocktails. Kids are welcome to with a special $12 BBQ deal.

California Dreaming Beach Party BBQ – 6:00 – 9:00 PM

Experience the best beach party BBQ the Fourth has ever seen at the Bahia Resort Hotel. With live music taking you through the decades, dance the night away while dining on fresh BBQ from an endless buffet. Cap the night off with a complimentary boat cruise to see the SeaWorld fireworks display!
