Día de los Muertos at The Florence

Legal Restaurants to preview globally-inspired cuisine from new Condesa menu

If you haven’t had a chance to check out The Florence in Sabre Springs, come by on Saturday, November 2nd while the venue transforms for its Día de los Muertos celebration. From 7 – 10 p.m., guests are encouraged to don their best Day of the Dead costumes and makeup and join the party. This multi-day celebration allows friends and families to pay respect to loved ones passed.

A globally-inspired menu will feature dishes from Condesa, the neighboring restaurant, such as tamales with pork or mushrooms, esquites en vaso (corn in a cup), a taco station with carne asada or calabaza (zucchini blossom) and more. The menu draws inspiration from a chic neighborhood in Mexico City, La Condesa.

Guests can look forward to DJs, dancers, action stations, cooking demos and entertainment throughout the night. During the event, Legal Restaurants will preview its newest concept, Condesa, coming to downtown Phoenix in December 2019.

The Florence is a contemporary American restaurant with a locally-sourced menu and refined cocktail menu. The 10,000-square-foot indoor and two-acre outdoor space features a resort-style theme and amenities such as a coastal social dining room, fire pits, and a bocce ball court.

Tickets are $45 and include one cocktail, all food, and activities. The Florence is located at 13480 Evening Creek Dr., North Suite 150 in San Diego. For more information, please visit theflorencesd.com.
