For some, green beer goes hand-in-hand with St. Patrick’s Day, while for others corned beef & cabbage are much more essential. Whether you’re celebrating with family or seeking a party with your friends, San Diego offers plenty of both, and so much more. St. Patrick’s Day falls on a weekend this year, so that means two full days to enjoy pints of beer, shots of whiskey, bagpipes, and leprechauns. For the Irish by blood and the Irish at heart, here’s a roundup of a few of the best places in San Diego to dance a jig and celebrate the greenest day of the year.
