Enjoy Draught Beer at home with Draftmark System from Anheuser-Busch

By  |

beerThere’s a new innovation hitting the markets for beer lovers that allows you to experience the freshness of premium draught beer right from your own refrigerator. The system currently comes with either Shock Top, Michelob AmberBock, Bass Pale Ale or Budweiser on tap.

The Draftmark tap system is an great piece of equipment that doesn’t take up a lot of space in the refrigerator and is very simple to setup. All you have to do is charge the battery system for a few hours while the beer is chilling. An individual pouring spout comes with each new beer “keg,” which needs to be placed in the system. Once the beer is locked into the system it’s ready to go.

The tap system and the beers are sold separately by a variety of retailers in San Diego. In fact, San Diego is only the second city outside of St. Louis (where the unit originated) to enjoy this new beer drinking innovation.

Each beer refill holds one gallon of beer which comes out to eleven 12-ounce servings, and, once opened, the Draftmark system keeps the beer fresh for 30 days.

One of the fun elements of the Draftmark tap system is that it comes with interchangeable magnetic tap markers with logos of each of the beers on them. You’ll feel like you have your own pub right in your refrigerator.

The one-gallon beer refills also include built-in draft lines to allow for easy tapping and cleaning. Accessories include a gel wrap to keep the system cold when it is not in the refrigerator (great for tailgating) and a tap stand for easier tabletop access.

Draftmark is brought to you by the Anheuser-Busch company. The vice president of innovation at the company, Pat McGauley said, “Our innovation team is continually experimenting with new beer styles, packaging and concepts, and we’re always looking for the next idea that meets an unmet consumer need.”

Nathaniel Davis, brewmaster at Anheuser-Busch said, “We’re excited to bring this to beer lovers in San Diego, and we look forward to hearing what they have to say about it and what they’d like to see from Draftmark in the future.”
