The saying goes, “the best way to a man’s heart is through his stomach.” Show dad how much you care by taking him out to one of San Diego’s top restaurants. We’ve rounded up some of the best Father’s Day deals, from the best drink and beer specials to non other than smoked steaks and meats. Locale Kitchen & Lounge

Located at the Willows Hotel & Spa in Alpine  – Awarded 2018 OpenTable Diners’ Choice, Locale serves a variety of inventive, savory dishes along with a selection of standard and crafted drinks. Greystone Prime Steakhouse & Seafood 

Sophisticated Gaslamp staple Greystone Prime Steakhouse & Seafood has crafted not one, but two pre-fixe menu options to pamper the fathers in your life. Set in a classy and elegant dining room overlooking 5^th Avenue, Greystone’s pre-set three-course Father’s Day options promise to add a special something to your fine-dining festivities. Featuring savory share plates, refreshing salads, and entrees including Buffalo Tenderloin, tender Lamb Chops, juicy USDA Prime New York Strip, Bone-In Ribeye, and fall-off-the-bone Lamb Shank, dad will feel the love with every mouthwatering bite. Upgrade your experience with free-flowing craft beer for an additional $25 per person, or experience local craft beer or Japanese whisky flight specials for dads.

Herringbone La Jolla

Celebrate dad at La Jolla’s favorite ocean-to-table hotspot. This Father’s Day, Herringbone will be offering a prix fixe menu for $45/person filled with fan favorite brunch staples, from savory Chilaquiles and the Two-Hand Burger to sweet Banana Bread and Raspberry French Toast. Available Sunday, June 17^th, 2018 from 10am-2pm.

Searsucker San Diego

Treat dad to an all-day affair at the Gaslamp’s Searsucker San Diego. Start the day off right with $18 bottomless mimosas and all of Searsucker’s classic brunch fare from 10am-2:30pm. Keep the celebration going with Searsucker’s Old Fashioned Happy Hour featuring $9 twists on the classic cocktail from 2:30pm-6pm. Cheers to dad with a Smoked Old Fashioned or relive your childhood days with the PB&J Old Fashioned topped with an Uncrustable®. Oggi’s Sports | Brewhouse | Pizza

Oggi’s is the concept that has defined craft brewing, fresh pizza, and brewpub favorites in a sports-themed atmosphere for the past 26 years. While supplies last, all Oggi’s locations will be giving out a Father’s Day pint glasses with the purchase of an Oggi’s beer. Guests can enjoy popular menu items such as the World Series a specialty pizza made with special BBQ sauce, all-natural chicken breast, and Gouda cheese topped with red onions and fresh cilantro, and the Texas Burger made with BBQ sauce, crispy bacon, crispy homemade onion strings, melted cheddar, spring mix blend, and tomato. A DIY craft terrace by Mint Studio will be set up in the Village Square for families to make custom gifts for dad while he samples a variety of alcohols with celebratory $5 tastings at Westroot Tavern, Wokou Ramen, Casa Rustica, and Breakfast Republic, all culminating in a family barbeque hosted by local eateries.

The Whiskey House

If your father is a fan of the wide world of whiskey, there’s no better place to celebrate than premier bar and lounge The Whiskey House. Famously home to California’s largest selection of whiskeys with over 2,500 diverse bottles and an extensive list of craft cocktails, there’s no shortage of festive toasts this Father’s Day. Raise a glass to dad with their Father’s Day Happy Hour special of $4 Kronenberg Parisian Lager and a $1 shot of house whiskey from 4:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M., paired with their house-made sausages, burgers, and smoky-flavored bites.

Rabbit Hole 

Known for upscale pub food and a trendy setting, Rabbit Hole features a rock wall and an open-air game area with a multitude of games. JSIX

The Grove Steakhouse 

Located at the Viejas Casino & Resort in Alpine – A AAA Four Diamond Award winner, The Grove Steakhouse is filled with luxurious décor and a warm, inviting atmosphere, offering classic and contemporary cuisine for the definitive gourmet experience. For the ‘meat-loving’ dad, the restaurant is offering a 28 oz. Brandt Beef Tomahawk steak with chimichurri and red wine sauce and charred tomato compote for just $50. Add on the divine Bailey’s chocolate chip cheesecake for $11.
